Job Description Job Description St. Mark’s Episcopal School in
Houston, Texas is seeking energetic and creative team players to
serve as an Early Childhood Substitute in our Twos Program. We are
looking for nurturing , and student-centered people who enjoy young
children and enjoy working with young children. Primary Functions:
Supporting a Twos classroom throughout the school day. Supervising
students during age-appropriate activities inside the classroom and
during outside play. Assist with classroom clean up throughout the
day. Assist with personal care routines of 2 yr olds. Assist with
snack, meal time, and nap routines. Follow all Texas Childcare
licensing guidelines. Required Skills: Must be able to pass the
Texas Child Care licensing background screen. Must be at least 21
years of age. Available 7:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday
during the school year. Childcare and/or teaching experience with
children ages 12 to 35 months is strongly preferred. Physical
Requirements: Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of
time. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; to bend, stoop, and
reach overhead. Ability to work outside in inclement and hot
weather. Acknowledgments In the event you are invited for an

consideration: A copy of your college transcript. A completed and
signed Background inquiry release. This is a criminal check that is
required of all employees by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. St.
