Providing support throughout development, execution, commissioning, and close-out for a new crude oil facility located in Jones Creek, Texas is the focus of this Sr Project Engineer position! Your opportunities here at Enbridge will be endless as we expand with the future of energy in mind!

Here's what you will do:

  • Provide technical feedback throughout project life cycle.
  • Review documents and standards.
  • Explain technical components to non-technical teams.
  • Develop request for quote packages.
  • Work with Third Party Engineering firms on all technical deliverables.
  • Technical support for utility agreements including power, water, electrical.
  • Technical support for Enbridge SCM group.
  • Provide process support to permitting stakeholders.
  • Provide support to project team on execution deliverables.
  • Identify any standard variances and work with stakeholders on technical variance request.


    Who you are:
    • University Degree in Engineering with 6 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Technical experience in Projects
    • Project Management experience in major energy infrastructure business.
    • Strategic vision and the ability to analyze sophisticated situations and arrive at timely and effective solutions.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and exemplifies Enbridge values.
    • Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships internal and external to Enbridge.
    • Collaborative, team- and service-oriented work style
    • Software experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle
    • Professional Engineer designation preferred.
    • Strong working knowledge of pipeline, facility & tank engineering, construction management, industry standards and governmental regulations, complex detailed design experience, and commissioning experience preferred.


      Working Conditions:
      • Office environment with frequent travel to field locations (potentially during extreme weather conditions), regulatory agencies, customer offices and other Company offices.
      • Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.
      • Calm, quick decision making under intense conditions and making disciplined decisions in the face of uncertainty.
      • Field site visits to provide technical and execution support.
      • Depending on project needs hours may fluctuate slightly depending on week.

        Physical Requirements:

        Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement

        Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand sophisticated problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and connect with individuals via telephone.
