Job Description Job Description To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. • Maintains tires in compliance with Nexus Disposal Tire Maintenance standards. • Operate a motor vehicle to respond to service calls in a safe manner while complying with applicable state and federal laws. • Perform daily wheel and tire installations, balance wheels, check for correct air pressure and fit. • Perform daily rotation of tires and repair damaged tires in accordance with proper procedure. • Accurately maintains tire records and completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage. • Conducts out of service tire review and analysis. • Performs tire road calls as necessary. • Inspects scrap and obsolete tires. • Reviews failed tires for warranty consideration. • Inspects quality of retread and repairs. • Monitors servicing standards of suppliers. • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards. • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. • Other duties as assigned.
