for a Manual Machinist in Houston, TX. As a leader in the oilfield

create value for our customers and our shareholders. The Machinist
position requires skills developed through formal training or work
experience, high attention to detail and safety. You will work
within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability
to modify approach and must complete assigned tasks with a moderate
degree of supervision. Job Responsibilities: Perform operations
including turning, facing, boring, drilling, reaming, threading,
grooving, and other lathe/mill work operations as required. Perform
work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality
expectations while supporting a production schedule Conduct
in-process and final inspection; document results and report
nonconformities. Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print
specifications and report any non-conformities Execute daily
priorities and duties as defined by the supervisor or area lead Use
and maintain measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers,
indicators, bore gauges, height gauges). Perform ID and OD
threading and grooving to quality standards. Maintain a safe, clean
and organized working environment. Demonstrate unwavering
commitment to HMH Values, Compliance, Integrity and HSSE. Safely
operate shop equipment such as overhead crane/forklift where
applicable The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move
up to 30 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand
tools and measuring equipment. Ability to read, write, and
communicate in English at a level sufficient to understand safety
instructions, complete required documentation, and communicate
effectively with supervisors and team members. Demonstrate strong
work ethic and adherence to processes and policies Setup and run
work orders with little to no supervision Apply concepts of basic
math and basic PC skills. Read and comprehend instructions, work
orders and drawings. Work independently and in a team environment.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and performance to meet
production and business needs. Demonstrate ability to read
engineering drawings and specifications Additional duties as
assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent
combination of education and experience. 3 years as a manual
machinist. Desired Characteristics 5 years of experience operating
manual lathes, milling machines, and other manual machining
equipment to produce high-quality parts. 5 years of experience with
small/large diameter or long-length work (steady rest/follow rest),
and tight tolerances. 5 years of experience with safe overhead
crane/forklifts operation or ability to become certified. 5 years
of experience of other manual machines (manual HBM, drill press,
surface grinder, keyseater, etc.) Working knowledge of geometric
dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Additional Information Must
be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time
basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for
employment visa status No relocation assistance 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Monday through Friday (with overtime as required – overtime is up
to 4:30PM), some weekends from 6:00AM – 12:00PM.
