Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Quality Engineer to join our team located in Houston, TX OR
Redstone Arsenal, AL! This position will act as the QMS management
representative(s) to monitor the implementation and overall health
of their QMS. This position requires a Bachelor of Science from an
accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology
(includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science,
engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Responsibilities: Act as the QMS management representative(s) to
monitor the implementation and overall health of their QMS.
Supports internal audits to ensure compliance to contractual,
Company and regulatory requirements. Develop quality metrics to
track compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory
requirements. Prepares team for yearly AS9100 3rd party audits.
Maintains & coordinates the internal and external audit function.
Maintains the Corrective Action status system. Analyzes trends to
evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective
actions to address adverse trends. This position is expected to be
100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite
at the listed location. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes
manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics,
mathematics, data science, or computer science 5 years of
experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 5 years of
experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA)
methods 5 years of experience performing quantitative or
statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and
interpretation 5 years of experience working with AS9100 and/or
similar QMS Standard Experienced with Six Sigma techniques
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience
working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and
Department of Defense (DOD) contracts Experience in Manned Space
Flight hardware This position requires the ability to obtain a
clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA) facility. This position must meet Export
Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined
by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Conflict of

$130,900 - $177,100 Redstone Arsenal, AL - $122,400 - $165,600
