seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Finance Director,
CFO on an at least 3-year secondment basis. The secondment is
expected to begin on June 19, 2025, and will run through June 19,
2028, with the possibility of returning to your position upon
completion, in accordance with company guidelines.As a Finance
Director, CFO, you will be a key member of the business leadership
team. This role manages all aspects of the company's financial
operations, playing a crucial role in strategic decision-making and
ensuring the company's financial health and long-term growth.
Responsibilities include overseeing financial planning, reporting,
budgeting, and forecasting for our Battery electrolyte
organization.Responsibilities
- Act as the lead financial advisor to the business leadership
team, providing financial leadership and driving financial
performance.
- Oversee all financial aspects of the business's operations,
ensuring financial health and sustainability during its project
stage and beyond.
- Establish and set up all financial operations from scratch,
including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making
support for key activities such as sales and margin analysis,
customer & product-line profitability, commercial deal analysis,
business case development, and demand forecasting in the SIOP
process.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial
metrics.
- Implement strategies for effective working capital management,
including accounts receivable and payable.
- Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process and participate in
the strategic plan (STRAP) process.
- Foster a strong internal control environment, focusing on
revenue recognition, sales accounting, contract management, and
financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc analyses related to new contracts, royalty
payments, and pricing adjustments.
- Monitor budget performance to identify cost optimization and
efficiency opportunities.
- Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure
compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits.
- Ensure continuous compliance with statutory, regulatory,
banking, tax, and other requirements.Note: Must be a US Citizen due
to contractual requirements.You Must Have
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis or
related roles.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese languages.We Value
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA
preferred.
- Experience with FP&A, P&L management, and within a
chemical-related business.
- Experience with import transactions and strong finance systems
knowledge.
- Operational experience, excellent communication, and
influencing skills.
- Factory and cost accounting experience, self-motivation, and
ability to handle complex situations.This position is offered as a
