This position is responsible for performing general RDA duties in collaboration with other team members. We are looking for team members who are focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining a strong professional relationship with others and a positive attitude.Job Responsibilities:Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.Capture quality x-ray imagesAssist dentist with a variety of treatment proceduresSetting up and sterilizing exam and treatment roomsDiscussing treatment options, importance and follow up recommended careProviding teeth polishing and sealant placement procedure (with required certifications)Supporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requestedSterilizing instruments and following cross contamination standardsCreating positive and uplifting patient environments by patient engagement before, during and after visitsGuiding parents and patients through post-care instructionsAssisting patients with company-provided prizes and dismissalUnderstanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelinesOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications: (Preferred)Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant LicensingSealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses)Digital x-ray and Digital Charting ExperienceKey Skills and Abilities, Characteristics of a good fit:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiativeFlexible and innovative; highly adaptable to dynamic business environmentHigh engagement; supportive of leadership and role model for company values and guiding behaviorsStrong demonstration of task completion and dedication to detailTeam Player and great interpersonal skillsPrompt and timely with work scheduleAmazing customer service skills, great at building relationships with new peopleSchedule and Location:Monday- Friday & 1 Sat a monthOne Location - Port Arthur SmilesCDP is an Equal Opportunity EmployerCommunity Dental Partners is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
