Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the administration of
Nursing services as assigned under the direction of the Nurse
Manager or Director of Nursing. Directs, plans, and coordinates the
service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing
and agency nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care.
Provides, coordinates, and directs patient care. Responsibilities
include:Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to
patientsImplementation and management of physician orders related
to nursingSelects, trains develop and motivates a highly skilled
professional and allied staff.Assures that departmental staff
complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, performs
supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, received
counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner.Assure that patient
verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of
nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner.Assures
that all patient related documentation is accurately completed,
submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal
and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing
process.Participates in planning, decision-making and
implementation of all service center activities that affect
clinical nursing services and the performance of the
multi-disciplinary team.Secures and maintains all applicable
professional certifications, accreditations and employment
requirements as required of the nursing staff and
department.Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse
scheduler and or clinical coordinatorAssures all nursing
documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely
mannerPromotes efficiency and productivity of nursing dept in
conjunction with nurse managerWorks closely with the Nurse Manager
and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and
evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs
and systems.Assures own professional growth and clinical
competence.Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of
conduct.Reports to the appropriate management any known or
suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or
standards of conduct.Schedule:Must be able to work Full-time, in
office, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday- 8:30am-5pmMust be
licensed in the state of Texas as an RNMust be able to participate
in an on-call rotationMust be able to provide infusions to patients
in their homes as well as the infusion suite (we offer hourly rate
of pay and mileage reimbursement)Must have a minimum of 1 year
Nurse Supervisory experience working directly with an Infusion
Company/Specialty Infusion PharmacyRequirements:Graduate of an
accredited school of nursing with a BSN, MSN preferredCurrent RN
Licensure by the applicable states Board of Nursing, in good
standingAdvanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g.
CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not requiredValid state issued
drivers license with no significant restrictions on that
licenseOn-Call Requirement: This position requires participation in
an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing
as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address
urgent issues and ensure continuous operations.Administrative
Oversight: Responsible for providing administrative oversight,
including monitoring of workflows, ensuring compliance with
policies, and managing resources efficiently to meet organizational
objectives.Emergency Availability: Must be available to respond
promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of
issues to minimize impact on operations. Availability during
non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as
required by the nature of the emergency.Minimum 2 years Nursing
practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or
specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV
therapy or critical careMinimum 2 years Pediatric Nursing
experience idealClinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring,
skill and knowledge of all types of IV linesMinimum 1 year
management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate
staff on new protocols and existing standard operating
proceduresAbility to work with all levels of employees in a
fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex
projectsKnowledge of vascular access devices and infusion
