Qualifications What You Will Do In Your Role: - The Nurse Manager
oversees the care of adult and geriatric patients. - Oversees the
care of the adult and geriatric patients and provides for the
development and evaluation of nursing staff. - Serves as a patient
advocate with the health care system. What qualifications you will
need: - At least two years as a staff Registered Nurse. - Two years
management experience or charge Nurse experience in a hospital
setting - Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN highly
preferred - Current Texas Licensure with State Board of Nurse
Examiners - Current BCLS certification required. - EKG Test scores
of 80% or better within 8 months. Test can be repeated up to 3
times. - Maintains current clinical competence - Annual Skills
Checklist - Completed Take Charge workshop - ACLS within 1 year -
Code Blue certification within 8 months of hire and then every two
years for ACLS. - Medication module Test score of 80% or
