Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Pasadena, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,612 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Pasadena, Texas, 77504! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: RN, BLS, NIH Description: This is an Intermediate Care Unit. The unit has 36 beds and is staffed by over 60 personnel. Staffing on day shifts consists of 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 4 patient care technicians. Night shifts are organized similarly. Patient ratios may vary based on staffing and can go up to 1:4 or 1:5. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates must possess essential skills, including RN qualifications, BLS, and NIH certification. Preferred skills include ACLS certification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassionate care, teamwork, a focus on patient safety, a positive attitude, and good communication skills. Effective time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical. Positive personal connections with patients are prioritized.
