Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Galveston, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Technician - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM /n• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours for first 2 weeks of contract) /n• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP /n• On-call required every 4 weeks /n• May float to units with similar skillset /n• No weekend requirements /n• Complete routine to complex body and neuro-interventional procedures /n• Provide direct assistance to physicians with all interventional procedures /n• Work attire is Galaxy Blue scrubs /n• Must be able to push/pull minimum of 50 pounds, walk long distances, and stand for continuous 240 minutes /n• Work with ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, CT equipment, Electronic Health Record, and PACS systems /n• May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation /n• Required: 3 years interventional radiology experience (Neurovascular and VIR) /n• Required: Associate of Applied Science or Graduate of accredited Radiology Program /n• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV; Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT); BLS /n• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certification /n• Required orientation sessions: Virtual HCSS orientation and in-person Radiant training /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive interventional radiology services.
