Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Type: PRN Your

Unit (ARU) at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center - McNair Campus in
Houston is a newly relaunched 30-bed inpatient rehab center
designed to support patients recovering from serious conditions
like stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex
neurological disorders, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Here are
the standout highlights: - Specialized Inpatient Rehab: Focused on
restoring function and independence after major illness or injury.
- Expert Management: Operated by Lifepoint Rehabilitation, the
largest manager of hospital-based acute rehab units in the U.S. -

continuous care and support. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist

contribute: - Evaluates and treats patient populations for
swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs. - Performs and
documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. -
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to
problems identified and involves the patient and family. - Educates
and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and
progress. - Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from
therapy services. - Supervises activities of clinical fellows,
students, and other support personnel. Qualifications and
requirements: - Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Required - Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with State
Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology - Basic Life Support
