This role plays a vital part in coordinating patient care, ensuring compliance with treatment plans, and supporting community health outcomes through accurate reporting and collaboration. Responsibilities: Provide advanced public health nursing services in accordance with standing delegation orders and established protocols Deliver clinical oversight and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care Serve as backup to the Chief Nurse, assisting with clinical decision-making and operational guidance Support implementation of public health programs, initiatives, and best practices Ensure compliance with public health regulations, policies, and standards of care Act as a clinical resource for complex cases, problem-solving, and workflow support Qualifications and Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas Minimum of four years of experience as a practicing registered nurse Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
