experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks a
skilled Registered Nurse with PACU experience to provide
exceptional care in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care environment.
The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, ranging
from pediatric to geriatric post-surgical patients, requiring
critical care expertise and strong clinical judgment. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the
nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and
evaluation. - Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural,
and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications
and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side
effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms,
medication, and care thoroughly and accurately. - Educate patients,
family members, and caregivers, assessing learning needs and
offering necessary resources. - Demonstrate leadership through
adherence to professional competencies and delegation of tasks to
manage clinical situations effectively. Qualifications: -
Registered Nurse license in Texas or compact state. - Current BLS,
ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications (American Heart Association).
- Preferably a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. - Minimum of 1 year
of relevant nursing experience, ideally within a perioperative or
post-anesthesia care setting. - Completion of New Nurses
Orientation within the first 30 days of hire and successful
competency validations. - Experience with perioperative nursing
residency programs or recent practice in OR/Perioperative
environments highly desired. Schedule & Work Type: - Full-time
contract position. - Four 10-hour shifts per week, variable start
times between 09:30 and 12:00. Location:This role is based in
