We are seeking full time and part time board-certified/board
eligible Neonatologists to join our growing CHRISTUS Ochsner
Neonatology Team at our community Level III NICU located in Lake
Charles, LA. Opportunity Details: The NICU includes 24/7 NNP
in-house coverage. The NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford
Network and eligible to participate in Ochsner system-based
neonatal QI projects. This unique opportunity includes a
competitive compensation package commensurate with experience with

Charles: Lake Charles is a family-oriented community located in the
Southwest region of Louisiana. Lake Charles is located just 75
miles from Lafayette and 60 miles from Beaumont, Texas. Home of
McNeese State University. Southwest Louisiana offers year-round
outdoor activities and hosts over 75 annual festivals, from
individual cities’ Mardi Gras to Louisiana Pirate Festival to

dedicated Pediatric ED · 24/7 neonatal and pediatric transport team
with ground, rotary, and fixed-wing aircraft support · Future
growth: construction underway for a new 5-story Children’s Hospital
, opening in late 2027/early 2028 and planned expansion of neonatal
services Education & Research · ACGME-accredited pediatric
residency program, plus the Ochsner Pediatric Residency Program . ·
