Some experience in a related position and environment preferred.2. Must consistently demonstrate the ability to learn and independently operateassigned machines and equipment meeting or exceeding processing and qualitytargets.3. Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment such aspumps, engines, centrifuge, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers,dryers, chemical feed, odor control, disinfection equipment, sludge processingfilters, belt presses and measuring/control devices, testing equipment and materialhandling equipment.4. Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assumeadditional or new responsibilities readily.QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDSome experience in a related position and environment preferred.Must demonstrate a working ability to use computer programs for process controlSome experience in a related position and environment preferredMust have the ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety and quality instructions). Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.Must be able to serve rotational 24 hour emergency on-call if required by site.Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.Extended amount of time in hot and cold environments. Frequent sitting, standing, andwalking around the job site; stepping over curbs, climbing ladders, stairs, potentialslippery/uneven surfaces. Occasional kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequentmanual labor and use of hand tools for maintenance activities; shovels, brooms, pipewrenches, air operated tools, pressure washers, water hoses. Occasional operation of heavyequipment; forklift, passenger trucks. Performing all tasks listed while wearing PersonalProtective Equipment: hard hat, coveralls, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe leather/rubberboots. Perform tasks with the use of respiratory protection.
